Once again, a demonstration by alt-left antifa anarchists turned violent in Portland, Ore., on Saturday, a city that has become the cultural center for Marxists in America.
Andy Ngo, a journalist for Quillette, was punched, kicked, and doused in a ‘milkshake’ containing quick-dry cement while he was attempting to cover the event, according to reports.
Following the attack, according to reports, Ngo was hospitalized with a bleed in his brain.
“Update to @MrAndyNgo supporters — he is being admitted to the hospital overnight as a result of a brain bleed. You sick “journalists” and other hacks gloating about this should be ashamed. As for the rest, please pray for @MrAndyNgo who we need back in health — brave man!” tweeted attorney Harmeet K. Dhillon.

The attack was also too much for Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas), who spoke out against it and who spoke up for Ngo, even as Oregon’s two U.S. senators — Ron Wyden and Jeff Merkley, both Democrats — remained silent.
What’s more, he is calling for a federal probe into the attack, as well as an investigation into Portland Mayor Ted Wheeler, another Left-wing Democrat who has done everything he can to enable Antifa and allow them to terrorize political enemies.
“To federal law enforcement: investigate & bring legal action against a Mayor who has, for political reasons, ordered his police officers to let citizens be attacked by domestic terrorists,” Cruz tweeted Sunday.

This request is much more than just political; it has roots in recent history.
For instance, even Barack Obama’s Department of Homeland Security and FBI considered Antifa a domestic terrorist organization, as Politico reported in September 2017:
Federal authorities have been warning state and local officials since early 2016 that leftist extremists known as “antifa” had become increasingly confrontational and dangerous, so much so that the Department of Homeland Security formally classified their activities as “domestic terrorist violence,” according to interviews and confidential law enforcement documents…
As for Portland, the city’s mayor, Ted Wheeler, a Left-wing extremist Democrat who has ordered his police to stand down in the face of antifa protests in the past, is also being scrutinized anew, as Breitbart News reports.
Ngo began live streaming on his phone after the attack and he could be heard asking police, “Where the hell were all of you?” (Related: FBI labeled Antifa ‘domestic terrorists’ LONG before Trump called them out after Charlottesville.)
The attack — and Wheeler — also drew the ire of U.S. Ambassador to Germany Richard Grenell, who tweeted that he wants the Justice Department to get involved.
“I have asked “@TheJusticeDept to investigate this incident in Portland. I can’t just sit by and watch my friend be brutally attacked,” he wrote. “This was a pre-meditated attack on someone because intolerant radicals don’t like that Andy happens to be gay, Asian and conservative. They targeted him publicly before their protest. Mayor @tedwheeler knew this was coming. The people of Oregon must speak up today.”

Also, famed UFC fighter Tim Kennedy called on Wheeler to resign because he’s a disgrace.
“What happened to @MrAndyNgo is horrible and inexcusable. The #mayor @tedwheeler should be resign for what he has done to #portland. I feel bad for the @PortlandPolice having their hands tied. The socialists with #antifa are dangerous and un-American,” he wrote.

In October, Wheeler defended his cowardly hands-off policy when it comes to Antifa after members of the group blocked off streets and harassed city residents.
“This is the story of Goldilocks and the two bears. The porridge is either too hot or it’s too cold,” he told reporters, as noted by the Washington Times. “At any given moment in this city, the police are criticized for being heavy-handed and intervening too quickly, or they’re being criticized for being standoffish and not intervening quickly enough.”
Cowardice and hate don’t make a good governing combo.
