Unhinged TV stations now resorting to airing doctored Trump speech video that makes his face look distorted

In the age of POTUS Donald Trump, the so-called “establishment” media has abandoned its principles of fairness, objectivity, and journalistic integrity in a mad dash to portray him as negatively as possible no matter what he says and no matter what he does.

This was demonstrated once again last week when an editor with a Fox affiliate took the unprecedented step of altering the president’s face to make him look crazed and foolish during his very sober, very straightforward, and very factual speech on the “humanitarian crisis” along our U.S.-Mexico border.

Fox affiliate Q13 (KCPQ-TV) in deep blue Seattle broadcast a video of the president’s speech that had been doctored, The Gateway Pundit reported, adding that the video was captured by a viewer — Jeff Wallis — who then tipped off Seattle talk radio host and conservative Todd Herman to the alteration.

“The video starts with an excerpt of Trump giving his address, however his face is made to look orange colored and his mouth has been distorted with video software. When the Q13 anchor starts talking near the end of the clip, the video of Trump is further altered so that he is repeatedly licking his lips with an exaggerated large tongue,” The Gateway Pundit reported.

Wallis posted the doctored video to his Twitter account:

Meanwhile, Herman posted the doctored video next to the unaltered version at MyNorthwest.com. “That comparison revealed the Q13 video creating a loop of the President licking his lips — making it seem bizarre and unbalanced — it also seems that someone distorted the President’s face and may have added an orange tone to his skin,” Herman wrote.

The Fox affiliate told Herman, who broadcasts on KTTH-AM 770 locally, that the video editor was suspended pending an investigation.

“We are investigating this to determine what happened,” said Q13’s news director, according to Herman. “This does not meet our editorial standards and we regret if it is seen as portraying the President in a negative light. The editor responsible for editing the footage is being placed on leave while we investigate further.”

This is a regular thing for the deranged anti-Trump media

Fortunately, the investigation did not take long and Q13’s news director did the right thing. The Seattle Times reported Thursday that the offending editor was fired.

“This does not meet our editorial standards and we regret if it is seen as portraying the president in a negative light,” Q13 news director Erica Hill wrote in an emailed statement to the paper. “We’ve completed our investigation into this incident and determined that the actions were the result of an individual editor whose employment has been terminated.”

This is far from the only example of Left-wing media hysteria in the Trump era.

As reported by NewsFakes, last month the bulk of the establishment media blamed POTUS Trump and his administration for the death of a sick 8-year-old migrant boy after purposely leaving out facts that further explained what happened. The boy was taken to a hospital by Customs and Border Protection officials after he vomited, and was then released on an antibiotic after his father refused further treatment for him.

His death followed that of a 7-year-old migrant girl the previous week, which the media also blamed on POTUS Trump and his immigration enforcement agencies. As The Gateway Pundit reported, the establishment press noted that the child died from dehydration and exhaustion ‘in Border Patrol custody,’ as though the agency was responsible.

“In fact,” The National Sentinel reported, “U.S. border authorities were so responsive to [the child] that her own father — the person who is ultimately responsible for her death from exposure to the elements since he was the one who decided to bring her the thousands of miles to the U.S. border — openly stated they were not to blame.”

The establishment media conveniently left out that part of the story.
